Yes! Many cryptids have already been proven to exist, however some are less known to common people, this page is exclusively for cryptids that have been confirmed. We at the Cryptid Bestiary believe it won't be long before cryptids like the sasquatch and the Mokele-mbembe can also be added to this list.
The coelacanth -
Cryptozoology's sweetheart, as it was thought to have been extinct for 65 million years before being rediscovered in the mid 20th century. It also gives greater attention towards the possiblity of sea monsters.
The pizzly bear -
We don't know how or why, but somehow grizzly bears & polar bears are breeding in the wild, creating one ferocious hybrid!
The giant squid -
Among the largest things in the sea, the giant squid which is common now, was thought a myth until 2004!
The giant panda -
That's right! The now commonplace panda was once a cryptid too!

Less known than it's cousin the chimpanzee, the bonobo is a very intelligent ape of Africa, completely unknown until the mid 20th century.
The Chacoan peccary -
The Chacoan peccary is among my favorites for confirmed cryptids, as it was found in the same jungles as the Mapinguari is thought to live, giving added weight to the possibility of a giant ground sloth being found in the next few years.
The mountain gorilla - Gorilla gorilla
Yep, until 1902 the gorilla was thought to be mythical like the sasquatch, leading an increasing number of scientists to research the strong possibility of the sasquatch's existence.
